A intenção dos aventureiros, que percorrem as estradas montanhosas numa moto, reflete a realidade que o final do século vive: a aventura de viver perigosamente (adrenalina pura), o aproveitamento daquilo que emerge no momento e a despreocupação pelo futuro.
Nossa sociedade está fragmentada, onde já não sabemos com convicção os verdadeiros valores, os próprios meios de comunicação penetram cada vez mais em todos ambientes que lançam suspeitas sobre todas as nossas atitudes, o sagrado perdeu seu lugar.
Dentro desta visão, também surge à pergunta sobre a fé em Jesus Cristo. A realidade existencial do homem moderno, que vive momentos fortes, na alegria e no sofrimento, na surpresa e na decepção, sofreu essa guinada a partir do momento em que a visão de totalidade se relativizou. O sentido da vida deixou de ser buscado nas aspirações profundas do ser humano, no eterno, na transcendência, em favor duma satisfação momentânea, colocando a fé em Deus sob suspeita. A vida tornou-se uma soma de fragmentos desconexos. Vivem-se momentos e situações fortes, sem um horizonte específico. Onde fica a fé? Para o homem atual, Jesus Cristo é apresentado de diversas formas. As opiniões variam entre um Deus que se fez homem, até um mito útil para pessoas frágeis ou um fetiche.
Nesse contexto de perguntas e conceitos amplos, me deparo com a vida simples, porém robusta, de Carlo Acutis. Jovem europeu, residindo em Milão, um gênio dos computadores, amigo de todos e apaixonado pelas coisas do alto, ele rodeou-se do sagrado e se fez um. Seu amor por Jesus e sua Igreja nos remetem que a fé está á nosso alcance e é possível viver a santidade nos dias de hoje. O cristão tem que aprofundar seus valores e sentir que sua alma clama pelo Criador, nos somos as criaturas em quem o Pai confiou a criação, mas muitos de nós nos deixamos desviar pelo egoísmo do ter, prazer e poder… Carlo entra em minha vida como um novo marco que me chama e renova meu espírito aos braços de Deus (ABBA!!! Pai, papai, papaizinho…).
Meus amigos jovens sempre me complementam com uma frase que diz:…palavras emocionam, mas os exemplos arrastam… Assim, eu indigno, porém caminhante me coloco a caminho tomando o exemplo e a ajuda fiel de Carlo, e com sua graça quero levar junto muitos e muitos outros amigos na minha estrada rumo ao céu.
